Anonymous: dennis makes a joke on the gangs groupchat and charlie is like “JDKKXKSJZKSJKSKSLSKKS”. dennis remakes the joke irl and charlie is like “i didnt get it”. dennis is confused.
he def gets very emo about the whole ordeal and tries to explain the joke to Charlie all day… to no avail.
some other gang group chat shenanigans include:
the groupchat is innocently named ‘paddy’s pub’ when they first make it and they think they’re so cool and professional because they’re a Business with an official groupchat for Communication
it all turns to shit ofc and one of them angrily changes the group name one day, which leads to constant group name changes. It ranges from petty things they’re mad about (eg gc name: dennis reynolds is a LOSER) to their current obsessions (eg gc name: DONG SHOT DONG SHOT THUNDER DONG THUNDONG SHOT), and no names last for more than a few days before it’s something else entirely again
they’re all admins in the chat so when any two or more of them are in a fight, it’s almost a race to see who can remove who off the chat first… they only add back the deleted members when they forget why they were fighting at all… none of them have chat history because they’re constantly deleting each other off the gc
Frank gets very annoyed because his fingers are too big for his phone and he always makes typos or gets autocorrected and his mistakes get laughed at by the gang all day, until he learns how to send voice messages in the chat. He communicates exclusively in voice memos in the chat. No one ever listens to his messages, with the exception of Charlie when he realizes Frank has sent something and he’s meant to listen and not attempt to read
Charlie likes to communicate exclusively in emojis and or key smashes that often inadvertently make the other members of the gang feel validated when Charlie responds to their jokes. He has no idea what any of them are saying and doesn’t think any of them are funny. His most sent message is this: 🧀
Mac before coming out would often forward bible verse links from whatever catholic group chat he’s in, no one knows how he finds these chats, and after coming out Mac likes to message the group saying he’s found some fun buzzfeed quiz/funny joke that he’s about to link to in the chat, but then accidentally links the gang to gay porn because he didn’t copy the links right
Dennis secretly watches Mac’s gay porn links, doesn’t tell anyone about it, but one day he accidentally sends a link to a gay porn that Mac had sent a few days before and everyone calls him out on it before he can delete the text from the gc
Mac and Dennis are together within days
Dee makes short videos that she intends to be vine-compilation worthy and often sends incriminating pictures of the gang that she’s taken in order to keep them in line
Both Dee and whoever she’s blackmailing both often forget about the whole thing because the groupchat can move really fast some days and there’s too much to keep up with to remember everything
they have several group chats for various stupid reasons, and of course not everyone is in every group chat, so often times they’re just randomly clicking a chat, talking into the void and hoping someone responds
dennis accidentally sent nudes to the gc instead of mac one time and they briefly made it the gc profile pic till dennis realised what he did
if you say the phrase “you can’t be mad at me i have the right to free speech” three times in a mirror justin mcelroy appears and vaporizes you instantly
I think the context is important here
The tweets above were in reference to the backlash he got for these:
I WOULD PAY TEN TIMES AS MUCH FOR CHOCOLATE IF IT MEANT REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF SLAVES IN THE WORLD? HOW IS THIS ANY KIND OF PROBLEM.
good news, you can! the company’s called Tony’s Chocolonely and their entire purpose is to make slave-free chocolate and reform the chocolate industry.
Whole Foods carries it. If you don’t want to support an Amazon-owned company, World Market carries it. You can also buy it directly from the company.
It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever had and it’s 100% slave free. Tony’s Chocolonely works really hard to push for transparency within the chocolate industry and actually has and is following an action plan to eliminate slavery within cocoa production. They’re good people who make good chocolate.
Noah fence but the story of a low/no empathy person trying to do the right thing and make the right choices is way more interesting and realistic than a low/no empathy person as a camp villain.
Low/no empathy hero vs. High empathy villain
“How can you choose to be good when you can’t feel it?”
It features characters from Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacific Rim (notably Herrmann Gottlieb and Newton Geiszler of course) and audio from British panel show “Would I Lie to You?”
